Situation description:
The client is a NM LLC. It has acquired a claim against a foreign company based on the contribution of the claim to the LLC's assets by a single member.
The local jurisdiction for the decision is the court in Florida.
We require the following service for our contractual partner:
Acceptance of formal representation of the client. The client is a NM LLC registered in the state of New Mexico. Since every LLC must be formally represented by an attorney before the court and may not represent itself, at least formal representation is necessary. The service will include uploading the claim to the CM/ECF system, uploading other actions and filings against the court to the CM/ECF system, downloading and forwarding court actions from the PACER system to email, signing documents intended for the court as well as for sending to the defendant.
The client has its own in-house lawyer who will prepare the claim as well as all other filings for the court. Your task will be to sign these filings and upload them to the CM/ECF. If you wish to improve any of the acts, it is your right to do so after consultation and consent of the client.
The lawsuit will be filed in the federal court in the state of Florida, namely in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Fort Pierce Division
The courthouse is located in Fort Pierce and there are hearings, but filings are administered through the Clerk’s Office in West Palm Beach. Electronic filings always go through CM/ECF S.D. Fla.
Prerequisite: You must be a Florida licensed attorney as a member of the Bar of that particular federal district.
Or you successfully petition the court for pro hac vice representation using local counsel.
Bids from persons who do not meet the conditions will not be considered at all.
The amount of the bid must be determined as a unit price for signing each act and uploading it to the CM/ECF or PACER system, or for downloading and forwarding the document from PACER to the client’s email.
The total number of actions in the dispute will probably not exceed 10. If there were more, they would be agreed upon additionally.
