Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Corporate Sponsorship & Fundraising Consultant for an ongoing partnership to help us build and steward sponsorship relationships across our major initiatives. This role is designed for someone who thrives on connecting with corporations, is passionate about under-resourced communities and education, and can develop compelling sponsorship packages that align with corporate social responsibility goals.
Key Initiatives You’ll Support

Annual Fundraising Gala (Charlotte, NC) – our signature event that engages corporate partners, philanthropists, and the community.
Trek for Education – a journey of transformation and hope: a walking journey that will raise funds to build a two-story, 12-classroom elementary school, a technology lab with solar panels in the middle school, provide funding for 300 students to attend school, and create an outdoor playground and multi-use field in Akyeremade, Ghana.
Wine & Wonder Fundraiser – a unique experience blending culture, philanthropy, and community impact.
Responsibilities
Identify and cultivate potential corporate, philanthropic, and high-net-worth sponsors.
Develop and manage sponsorship proposals, packages, and outreach campaigns.
Build long-term sponsor relationships that extend across multiple events and initiatives.
Provide regular updates and reports on sponsorship progress.
Who We’re Looking For
Proven track record of securing $10K+ sponsorships for nonprofits.
Experience connecting with corporate decision-makers.
Passion for supporting under-resourced communities and advancing education.
Excellent proposal writing and communication skills.
Results-driven, strategic, and relationship-oriented.
Compensation
Fixed monthly retainer of $1,500–$2,000 (approx. 10 hours/week).
10% success bonus on sponsorships secured (paid upon receipt of funds).
Designed for an ongoing partnership across multiple initiatives.
