GPS Smart Cow Collar — Prototype Development (3 Units)
I am looking for an experienced embedded hardware developer to build 3 working prototypes of a GPS-enabled smart cow collar designed to prevent cattle from wandering onto roads and highways. The collar detects when a cow enters a pre-defined road-proximity zone using GPS geofencing and automatically triggers an audible alarm to deter the animal from crossing. The device is solar-powered with a lithium battery backup for continuous field operation, housed in a weatherproof enclosure suitable for Indian outdoor conditions. This is a real product — a patent application is being filed with the Indian Patent Office, and all design files and firmware will be uploaded to GitHub.
The full technical scope of work is attached to this posting. It covers all hardware specifications (GPS module, microcontroller, solar charging system, alarm, and housing), firmware requirements, deliverables, and acceptance criteria. You will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and an IP Assignment Agreement before work begins.
