This job requires cultural competency in working with ethnically diverse groups who have been historically victimized by crimes of aggression and/or crimes against humanity. In addition to working with victims of trauma, the job requires the clinician to maintain a focus on the intersectionality of trauma, gender, ethnicity and systems of racism and persecution. Last, but not least, the job requires a willingness to outline the goals, on paper, to justify and fortify the right of existence, self-determination and actualization from an ethnic, religious and spiritual point-of-view.
