We're hiring someone who's great with people and quick to pick up new codebases, to serve as a technical interviewer evaluating software engineers on behalf of our US client companies.
What makes this role different:
This is not a traditional development position. You'll be an interviewer for software engineer candidates.
You won't be maintaining legacy code or racing deadlines. Instead, you'll use your coding logic and communication skills to guide candidates through live coding interviews, assessing their technical ability while keeping the process smooth and encouraging.
Role structure:
- Starts as a 2-week part-time trial (also paid)
- Transitions to full-time, hourly-paid work upon successful onboarding
- Stable, long-term income potential. no complex project ownership or maintenance stress
Ideal candidate:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent, natural American English
- Strong sense of autonomy (critical for this role)
- Adaptable and comfortable handling varied interview situations
- Solid coding logic and fundamentals (think: a patient, knowledgeable teacher)
Requirement:
- Must be available to work US Pacific Time hours
