Complete Integration and Documentation of IBM Business Automation Workflow 25.0.0.0 Environment (Windows Server)


We are looking for a technically experienced freelancer to install, configure, and fully document a complete IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) 25.0.0.0 environment on Windows Server 2022, using their own infrastructure (physical or virtualized).The main objective is to produce a step-by-step, replicable guide — hosted in a private GitHub repository — that enables any non-technical person to successfully reproduce the environment independently.

This is a documentation-only project — we do not require access to your system or any deployed VM. The final deliverable must be complete, visual, and verifiable documentation that allows us to replicate the setup internally.

Components to Be Installed and Integrated
You will be responsible for the complete installation and integration of the following IBM enterprise products:
IBM Business Automation Workflow 25.0.0.0 (Enterprise Edition)
IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5 (for BAW profiles)
IBM WebSphere Application Server 9.0.5 (for FileNet CPE profiles)
IBM Db2 12.1 (Standard Edition)
IBM FileNet Content Platform Engine 5.7
IBM Content Navigator 3.2
IBM ECM CMIS 3.0.6

These components must be integrated and functional in a single system, with proper communication between services, database connectivity, Active Directory authentication, and working consoles.

Target Environment Configuration
You must simulate and deploy the solution in a virtualized or physical environment that meets the following:
Operating System: Windows Server 2022 (English)
Directory Service: Active Directory, domain name DEMO
Network: Static IP address, all firewalls disabled
Authentication: Integration with Active Directory is mandatory
Required User Accounts:
Administrator – System and domain administrator
dbadmin – IBM Db2 administrator
wadmin – IBM WebSphere profile owner (both versions)

Tools:
You must use IBM Installation Manager for all product installations
All steps and configurations must be explained clearly

Deliverable
The only deliverable is a private GitHub repository that contains:
A clear, well-organized README.md file or structure as main entry point
Full step-by-step documentation for:
Preparing and downloading required installation files
Installing and configuring each IBM component
Creating WebSphere profiles (BAW + CPE)
Setting up Db2 and linking it to the components
Deploying and verifying Business Automation Workflow
Configuring Content Navigator and CMIS
Integrating all services with Active Directory
Verifying logins, consoles, and basic functionality
Screenshots for every relevant step (GUI or command line)
Command examples, environment variables, tips
Scripts if used (with explanation)
The guide must be understandable by non-technical users
It is acceptable to use mostly screenshots and brief text if this makes it easier to follow
No PDFs, DOCs or external files – the entire guide must live inside the GitHub repository
Ownership of the repo must be transferred to us once validated

Scope and Limitations
You are not required to provide or deploy a VM for us
You will not receive access to our systems
We will reproduce the entire deployment from your documentation alone
The goal is functional integration and clarity, not performance optimization
The setup must work using only English versions of software and operating system

Timeline and Payment
Delivery time: 7–14 days
Payment method: SafePay / Escrow (through Guru/Workana/PeoplePerHour)
Payment is only released after verification that your documentation leads to a successful deployment in our own environment

Candidate Requirements
Only apply if you meet all of the following:
Proven experience installing and configuring IBM Business Automation Workflow, IBM WebSphere, IBM Db2, and IBM FileNet
Real-world experience on Windows Server 2022
Ability to produce clear, replicable documentation, not just code
Strong communication skills in English
Familiarity with GitHub and Markdown documentation standards
