Job Title:

WooCommerce E-Commerce Administrator & Store Manager – Product Catalog, Content & Plugin Management

Salary: $150 per Month

Working Hours: 25 hours per week is a must. 0800AM to 0100PM Jordan local time. 5 days a week.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced WooCommerce E-Commerce Administrator to oversee the day-to-day backend operations, product catalog management, and routine maintenance for our online store (sip22.com).

You will be responsible for ensuring that all product listings are optimized for Google, images are clean and fast-loading, site plugins and core features are maintained, and promotional offers or pricing updates are executed seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Catalog & On-Page Content Optimization

  • Upload and publish new products with complete attributes (variable pricing, SKU, stock levels, categories, tax, and shipping tags).

  • Write and edit product descriptions following Google Search Standards (SEO-friendly headings, alt text, primary keywords, structured product metadata).

  • Format and optimize product imagery (image compression, resizing, WebP conversion, standardized backgrounds, and clean naming conventions).

  • Set up, update, and schedule sales promotions, discount codes, bundles, and seasonal offers in WooCommerce.

2. Website & Plugin Maintenance

  • Perform routine updates for WordPress core, WooCommerce, themes, and active plugins in a controlled environment.

  • Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, site display glitches, or broken forms before they impact the live shopping experience.

  • Evaluate, test, and recommend new plugins or extensions as needed to enhance store features or security.

  • Maintain site hygiene—identifying broken links, outdated inventory listings, and redundant media library files.

3. Store Operations & General Administration

  • Ensure category structures and menu navigation are intuitive and updated according to inventory changes.

  • Coordinate backend stock statuses or pre-orders across product pages.

  • Conduct regular functional checks across product pages, cart drawers, checkout processes, and payment gateways.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Proven Experience: 3+ years managing WordPress and WooCommerce backend operations for live e-commerce stores.

  • WordPress/WooCommerce Mastery: Deep understanding of product creation (simple vs. variable products), product attributes, custom taxonomies, and store settings.

  • Content & Image Editing: Proficiency in editing product descriptions for SEO and using basic graphic tools (Photoshop, Canva, or Figma) for product image optimization.

  • Plugin Management: Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining key e-commerce plugins (caching, SEO plugins like AIOSEO, security, and loyalty/discount plugins).

  • Basic Web Understanding: Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for formatting product descriptions and handling minor layout tweaks.

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent proofreading and data entry accuracy for pricing, specs, and promotional banners.

Application Requirements:

When submitting your proposal, please include:

  1. Examples or links to WooCommerce stores you currently manage or have previously administered.

  2. A summary of your daily workflow for optimizing product images and descriptions for Google/SEO standards.

  3. Your experience handling WordPress core and plugin updates safely without causing site downtime.
