Email Marketing & Conversion Copywriter | Klaviyo

We are looking for an experienced Email Marketing & Conversion Copywriter to join our marketing team.

This role is for someone who can write persuasive, high-converting marketing copy AND confidently work inside Klaviyo.

We operate in the trading industry and run frequent promotional campaigns, weekly market content, evergreen marketing, and other campaigns throughout the month.

Our email marketing is expanding, so we need someone who can eventually take ownership of a large portion of the copywriting and email execution workload.

Current Email Workload

At the moment, our typical promotional campaign includes approximately:

4 promotional emails per week for one campaign, usually consisting of an announcement followed by strategically timed reminders and final urgency emails.

We also produce:

  • 1 weekly market report recap email

  • Promotional and flash-sale emails

  • Giveaway and campaign emails

  • Trader testimonial and payout emails

  • Educational emails

  • Evergreen/nurture emails

  • Retargeting and conversion-focused messaging

  • Other marketing copy as required

We are planning to significantly expand our email marketing, particularly our evergreen, nurture, segmentation, and automated email strategy.

What You'll Be Doing Your responsibilities will include:

  • Writing conversion-focused promotional emails

  • Writing subject lines and preview text

  • Creating different angles across multiple emails for the same promotion

  • Writing strong CTAs

  • Writing weekly market recap emails from information provided by our team

  • Writing evergreen and nurture emails

  • Building and formatting campaigns inside Klaviyo

  • Scheduling campaigns

  • Creating and managing Klaviyo flows

  • Working with audience segments

  • Performing basic email QA before campaigns are scheduled

  • Reviewing email performance

  • Helping us test subject lines, offers, angles, CTAs, and messaging

  • Using performance data to improve future campaigns

  • Working closely with the rest of the marketing and creative team

We Need a Copywriter, Not Just Someone Who Can Write

Good grammar is not enough.

We need someone who understands direct-response and conversion copywriting.

You should understand concepts such as:

  • AIDA

  • PAS

  • Hooks

  • Desire and outcome-driven messaging

  • Objection handling

  • Urgency and scarcity

  • Social proof

  • Benefits vs features

  • Customer awareness levels

  • Calls to action

  • Offer positioning

  • Email sequencing

  • Maintaining interest across multiple emails promoting the same offer

One of the biggest challenges of this role is writing multiple emails for the same promotion without simply repeating the same email four times.

Each email should have its own purpose and angle while still supporting the overall campaign.

Klaviyo Experience

You should already be comfortable using Klaviyo.

Ideally, you have experience with:

  • Creating campaigns

  • Building flows

  • Segmentation

  • Email templates

  • Scheduling

  • A/B testing

  • Deliverability fundamentals

  • Reading campaign analytics

  • Open rates

  • Click rates

  • Conversion/revenue attribution

  • Using performance data to improve future campaigns

We want someone who can eventually help us improve the email channel, not simply paste copy into Klaviyo.

AI Usage Is Allowed

We are completely fine with the use of ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI tools as part of your workflow.

We care about the final result.

If AI helps you research, brainstorm angles, create first drafts, or work faster, that's fine.

However, simply generating generic AI copy and submitting it without properly reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and adapting it is not acceptable.

You are responsible for the final copy.

It should sound intentional, fit the brand, accurately represent the promotion, and most importantly:

It needs to convert.
Attention to Detail

Accuracy is extremely important.

Before submitting or scheduling an email, you should personally check:

  • Promotional dates

  • Discount percentages

  • Promo codes

  • Eligible and excluded products/programs

  • Terms and disclaimers

  • Links

  • CTAs

  • Subject lines

  • Preview text

  • Spelling and grammar

  • Formatting

  • Scheduling

  • Audience/segment selection

We move quickly, so we need someone who can produce work efficiently without creating unnecessary corrections for the rest of the team.

What We're Looking For/We would strongly prefer someone who:

  • Has professional email copywriting experience

  • Has direct-response copywriting experience

  • Has hands-on Klaviyo experience

  • Understands ecommerce or performance marketing

  • Can write persuasive promotional copy without sounding cheap or overly salesy

  • Can maintain a consistent brand voice

  • Can turn a creative brief into finished copy without constant supervision

  • Understands how to interpret email performance data

  • Is comfortable working with deadlines

  • Communicates proactively

  • Can manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

  • Is willing to learn the trading industry

Previous experience writing for trading, finance, fintech, prop firms, education, or similar industries is a major advantage, but not required if you are an excellent direct-response copywriter.

How to Apply

Please include:

  1. Your email copywriting portfolio.

  2. Examples of promotional or sales emails you have personally written.

  3. Your experience with Klaviyo.

  4. Examples of Klaviyo campaigns or flows you have worked on, if available.

  5. Any results you can share from previous email campaigns, such as click rates, conversion rates, revenue generated, or improvements you achieved.

  6. Your years of copywriting experience.

  7. Your expected monthly salary in PHP.

  8. Your availability and preferred working hours.

  9. The AI tools you currently use in your copywriting workflow, if any.

Finally, start your application with the words:

“EMAIL READY”

Then answer this question:

If you had to write four emails for the exact same promotion within one week, how would you make each email feel different while still driving toward the same offer?

We will prioritise applicants who answer this thoughtfully and provide strong examples of actual conversion-focused email work.
