Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ERP Test Engineer with strong functional knowledge across Accounting, Inventory, Payroll, Budgeting, and Courier & Logistics modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end testing of our enterprise-grade ERP system, ensuring quality, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with business workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test cases for ERP modules.
Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing across all ERP subsystems.
Validate workflows for:
Accounting: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, Taxation, Financial Statements.
Inventory: Stock Management, GRN, Issue/Return, Stock Adjustments, Warehousing, Batch/Lot tracking.
Payroll: Salary Processing, Employee Records, Statutory Compliance, Leave/Attendance integration.
Budgeting: Budget setup, allocation, variance analysis, financial planning.
Courier & Logistics: Forwarding, shipment tracking, route planning, POD, billing, and Emirates Post classifications.
Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely closure.
Review requirement documents, workflows, and functional specifications to validate completeness and testability.
Conduct data validation and database-level verification using SQL queries.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, documentation practices, and release processes.
Participate in sprint planning, review meetings, and provide QA effort estimations.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide training/demo when required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
3–7 years of experience in ERP testing or functional QA roles.
Strong domain knowledge in Accounting, Inventory, Payroll, Budgeting, and Logistics/Courier Operations.
Hands-on experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and defect tracking.
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Postman, API testing) is an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced development environment.
