Automatic Moving Average Crossover Strategy for NinjaTrader8:
Session start & stop times are selectable & based on computers time zone
EMA & SMA's are indicators included in NT8 indicator list and are "selectable"
User may manually select either EMA or SMA for Fast or Slow
Defaults for automatic strategy are set as follows (but are "selectable")
Fast EMA: 10
Slow SMA: 25
Entry conditions:
For Long position: Fast EMA10 crosses above Slow EMA25
For Short position: Fast EMA10 crosses below Slow EMA25
When 1st enabled strategy waits for the 1st crossover to make original entry
then strategy automatically reverses position when Fast EMA crosses Slow EMA
User may "close" trade at anytime with "chart trader" & this will "disable" strategy until user "manually enables" strategy again.
User may enter protective stop orders as desired with "chart trader"
& if protective stop order is hit, strategy will exit & be "disenabled" until
"manually enabled" again
