Role Overview

We’re looking for a proactive, mid-to-senior level Marketing Lead with deep experience in GoHighLevel (GHL) to execute and manage digital marketing initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in improving acquisition, activation, and retention through targeted messaging, automation, and content strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across paid, organic, and lifecycle channels with clear KPIs.

  • Create and manage social media content (posts, ads, short-form videos) across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Own our established GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM, including:

    • CRM and contact segmentation

    • Email sequences and lead nurture campaigns

    • Workflow automations and tagging

    • Funnel building and pipeline reporting

  • Drive lifecycle marketing, including onboarding, upsell, reactivation, and win-back sequences.

  • Build and launch targeted EDM campaigns, integrating dynamic content and behavioural triggers.

  • Create, test, and iterate on landing pages using GHL or other low-code tools.

  • Optimise the content journey and conversion funnels using data from GHL, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other platforms.

  • Collaborate with product and support teams to align campaigns with in-app experiences and user feedback.

  • Manage and iterate on GHL customer success journeys, including appointment scheduling, chatbot flows, and follow-up messaging.

  • (Desirable) Implement SEO and App Store Optimisation (ASO) strategies to grow organic traffic and app downloads.

  • (Optional) Brief or support basic graphic content using Canva or similar tools.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Expert-level experience in GoHighLevel (CRM, campaigns, workflows, automations, triggers, tags).

  • 3–5+ years of marketing experience in a SaaS or tech-driven business, ideally B2B or solopreneur-focused.

  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end campaign delivery, from strategy to execution and reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of digital channels: paid social, organic, email, and funnel optimisation.

  • Copywriting skills tailored to different stages of the customer journey.

  • Comfortable using data and analytics to drive decision-making.

  • Works well independently with a bias for action and speed.

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Understanding of the Australian sole trader or microbusiness market.

  • Experience working in lean, startup or scale-up environments.

  • Familiarity with performance dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. Looker, GHL reporting, GA4).

  • SEO/ASO skills and comfort briefing technical work if needed.

  • Light design/editing capabilities in Canva or similar.
