RealBlanks is seeking an expert mechanical design engineer to develop a precision-machined product from an initial concept through production-ready files.
The work includes:
• Developing a functional mechanical design
• Creating accurate 3D parts and assemblies
• Producing fully dimensioned 2D manufacturing drawings
• Specifying threads, fits, tolerances, materials, and other production requirements
• Applying GD&T and design-for-manufacturing principles
• Revising the design based on prototype testing and manufacturing feedback
Final deliverables must include editable native CAD files, STEP files, assembly files, and complete production drawings.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience developing functional CNC-machined metal products—not merely 3D rendering or basic CAD drafting. Please include relevant work samples and briefly explain your involvement in each project.
