Meta Ads Manager — Fashion E-Commerce (Shopify) 0→Growth


About the project: I run a fashion e-commerce store on Shopify and am ready to launch Meta ads from scratch. The store is set up, the Meta Pixel is installed and firing correctly, and the product catalog is synced via Meta Commerce Manager. I need an experienced ads manager who can build the full campaign structure from zero, work within a lean starting budget (~$10–15/day), and scale intelligently as results come in. This is a hands-on role — I want a true partner who brings strategy, creative direction, and executes. Long-term collaboration is on the table for the right person.


What you'll do

  • Build the Meta Ads campaign structure from scratch — awareness, retargeting, and Dynamic Product Ads (DPA)
  • Set up a two-ad-set retargeting structure: product viewers + cart abandoners, with purchasers excluded
  • Define audience strategy — cold, warm, and lookalike audiences — scaled to a small starting budget
  • Recommend ad formats, placements, and copy angles tailored to fashion/lifestyle products
  • Provide content ideas for creatives: UGC-style, product showcases, lifestyle imagery, carousel formats
  • Monitor performance and give weekly reporting against key metrics: ROAS, CPM, CTR, CPA
  • Identify when and how to scale spend based on early results — no guesswork, data-driven decisions
  • Suggest A/B tests for creatives, audiences, and offers

Required experience

  • Proven track record launching Meta ad campaigns for e-commerce from $0 ad spend — not just managing existing accounts
  • Experience with Shopify + Meta native integration (Facebook & Instagram sales channel, Commerce Manager)
  • Strong understanding of the Meta Pixel, ViewContent / AddToCart / Purchase events, and catalog diagnostics
  • Hands-on experience with Dynamic Product Ads (DPA / Advantage+ Catalog campaigns)
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve positive ROAS on small budgets before scaling
  • Ability to ideate and brief ad creatives — you don't need to produce them, but you need to direct them
  • Fashion, apparel, or lifestyle e-commerce experience is a strong plus

Must-haves to apply

  • Share 2–3 case studies or results from Meta campaigns you launched from scratch (include starting budget, ROAS achieved, and how you scaled)
  • Briefly describe how you would structure the first 30 days of campaigns for a fashion Shopify store starting at ~$10–15/day
  • List 3 content/creative ideas you'd recommend for cold-audience ads in the fashion space

Compensation

Open to fixed-price project or hourly — propose what works best for you based on scope. Budget is conservative but fair for the right person. Performance-based bonuses are possible as the account scales. Looking for quality over volume — one focused expert, not an agency.


Timeline & commitment

  • Start: ASAP — campaigns should be live within 1 week of hire
  • Initial phase: 60–90 days to establish baseline performance
  • Ongoing: monthly retainer or hourly arrangement for the right fit
  • Availability: async-friendly; weekly check-in calls preferred


Compensation


$150–$200/month fixed retainer to start, covering approximately 5 hours per week. This is a lean, trust-building start — as you demonstrate results, hours and pay increase. Looking for one focused expert who wants to grow with the brand, not an agency or a one-time setup job.
