We’re looking for a detail-obsessed freelancer to perform a soup-to-nuts pre-launch review of our websites (e.g., PlaidLibs.com, Geofroggy.com marketing pages). Your job is to make sure we’re polished, compliant, and ready to go live without embarrassing glitches or gaps. Think of this as the “final dress rehearsal” before the curtain rises.
This isn’t just a one-time gig — it’s the first of many projects across our growing family of sites. We’re excited to find someone who can partner with us for the long haul, building a trusted working relationship as we continue to launch, refine, and expand.
Responsibilities:
Perform a full QA sweep of the site (desktop & mobile): layout, responsiveness, load times, cross-browser performance.
Validate content accuracy: no broken links, missing assets, typos, or formatting issues.
Check forms, signups, and integrations: email capture, social links, API hooks, and backend flows.
Review SEO fundamentals: meta tags, headers, alt text, robots.txt, sitemaps, schema markup.
Verify compliance basics: cookie consent, privacy policy, terms of service, GDPR/CCPA considerations.
Test security & SSL setup: HTTPS, redirects, no exposed admin panels, etc.
Confirm analytics/tracking: Google Analytics (or equivalent), pixels, and event tracking firing correctly.
Deliver a clear report of findings + prioritized recommendations (must-have vs nice-to-have fixes).
YOU MUST provide past sites you have launched along with necessary contacts for reference.
