Roofing Referral Network & Partnership Specialist
Maine & New Hampshire | Residential & Commercial | Part-Time
We are looking for a reliable, motivated Referral Network & Partnership Specialist to build long-term relationships with businesses and professionals throughout Maine and New Hampshire who regularly encounter homeowners and commercial property owners needing roofing work.
This is NOT a position for cold calling random homeowners.
Your job is to develop a strong network of professionals and complementary service businesses that can refer legitimate roofing opportunities to our company.

- Exterior cleaning companies
- Handyman companies
- Other complementary service businesses that DO NOT provide roofing
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the entire relationship-building process:
- Research appropriate businesses and professionals
- Identify owners, managers and other decision-makers
- Contact prospects by phone and/or personalized email
- Introduce our company and referral program
- Explain how a partnership can benefit their customers
- Establish genuine referral relationships
- Consistently follow up with prospects
- Maintain relationships with existing referral partners
- Generate residential and commercial roofing opportunities
- Keep detailed records of all activity in a shared spreadsheet
- Submit a short end-of-day activity report
We are interested in quality relationships, not massive generic contact lists.
HOURS & COMPENSATION
$5.00 per hour
20 hours per week to start
This will begin as a 30-day trial period.
Small performance bonuses will also be available:
$10 bonus for each legitimate new business/professional that agrees to become a referral partner.
$25 bonus when a referral partner you established produces their first qualified roofing lead.
EXPECTED ACTIVITY
During a typical week, we expect approximately:
- 75–100 carefully targeted new businesses/professionals researched and contacted
- Consistent follow-up with previous prospects
- Direct outreach to owners/managers/decision-makers whenever possible
- Approximately 5+ meaningful decision-maker conversations per week
- A growing number of confirmed referral relationships
Our initial goal is approximately 2–3 new referral partnerships per week once the program is established.
We understand that genuine business relationships take time. We are looking for consistent, documented progress—not meaningless activity numbers.
DAILY REPORTING IS REQUIRED
Every business contacted must be documented in our shared tracking sheet.
We need to see:
Business contacted, decision-maker, phone/email, date, outreach method, conversation notes, interest level, referral program discussed, partnership status, follow-up date and any referrals generated.
At the end of each workday, you will provide a short summary showing:

OUR REFERRAL PROGRAM
We can offer qualifying referral partners a $50 restaurant gift certificate when they refer a legitimate roofing opportunity that results in a completed appointment with our company, where permitted by applicable professional rules and company policies.
This gives businesses an additional reason to remember us when they encounter someone who needs roofing work.
ROOFING SERVICES
Residential: Roof replacement, repairs, shingle restoration, leaks, storm damage and roof snow removal.
Commercial: Roof restoration, repairs, preventative maintenance, leak repair and roof replacement.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
We are not hiring someone to simply build lists.
We want someone capable of developing 20, 30, 50 and eventually 100+ productive referral relationships throughout Maine and New Hampshire.
A single strong relationship with a realtor, home inspector, property manager, chimney company, solar company, restoration company or other professional could potentially generate roofing opportunities for years.
