Seeking: Freelance Therapeutic Ultrasound Transducer Design Engineer (R&D)

We are a small independent research team (oncologist, biochemist, researcher) developing a transrectal combination applicator for Sonodynamic Therapy (SDT) + Electrodynamic Therapy (EDT) in prostate cancer research.
Looking for: An experienced engineer to design a 1 MHz PZT ultrasound transducer for a single R&D prototype.
Scope (design only, no manufacturing):
  • Acoustic design + simulation (k-Wave / COMSOL)
  • Manufacturing drawings for third-party fabrication (e.g. PI Ceramic)
  • Temperature sensor + TENS electrode integration guidance
Budget: €4,000 / 80 hours | Delivery: 56 days
