Summary
We are seeking a highly technical Unreal Engine Expert to help implement and refine interactive features across a series of small-to-mid-scale game projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating high-level design intent into polished, working gameplay systems and who can work quickly across multiple contained project environments.
Responsibilities
1) Implement core gameplay mechanics from written specifications
2) Build and refine player interactions, UI flows, and state-driven systems.
3) Integrate audio, materials, and visual feedback into interactive features
4) Debug and correct incomplete or improperly wired systems
5) Architect scalable solutions for more complex systems when required
6) Deliver clean, readable, well-structured project files
Ideal Background
1) Strong experience with Godot is preferred; experience with Unity, Unreal, or comparable modern game engines is also acceptable.
2) Solid understanding of gameplay architecture and state management
3) Experience building gameplay mechanics, multiplayer flows, or animation setups
4)Comfort working with shaders, materials, particles, or procedural systems (for higher-scope tasks)
5) Strong debugging skills and the ability to quickly identify integration issues
