Weekly “Talk Partner” / Listening Ear for Digital Nomad (~ 55 min calls, 1-2× week)
Description:
I’m a remote worker / digital nomad on the move (currently SEA). Travel + work brings a lot of mental noise, decisions, wins, and frustrations that pile up. I recently discovered that simply talking out my day out loud clears my head, helps me organise thoughts, and often gives me fresh insights. I don’t need therapy or advice — I just need someone calm and kind to ask “How was your day?” and listen while I ramble.
What I’m looking for:
A mature, patient listener (ideally 35+ years old)
Someone who has traveled or worked remotely themselves (big plus)
Experience with active listening, coaching, mentoring, or counseling is welcome but not required
Excellent English
Very reliable, warm, non-judgmental presence
~55 minute voice or video calls, 1-2 times per week (flexible scheduling, usually evenings ICT)
Your role:
Start the call with simple check-in questions
Let me talk freely about my day, travels, work, thoughts
Occasionally reflect or ask gentle follow-ups if it feels natural
No fixing, no heavy therapy — just safe space to verbalise
Rate:
$8–10 USD per hour (paid per call). Long-term preferred.
