I am a Chartered Certified Accountant who has spent 8 months working in the Accounting Department at my employer's firm doing bookkeeping, preparing monthly/annual financial statements, preparing bank and cash flow reconciliations etc. I have a good know-how of accounting softwares like QuickBooks, Xero etc. I also spent almost two and a half years with the same employer at the Tax Department where my duties ranged from calculating and uploading tax returns for individuals and companies to submitting periodic withholding tax statements, to doing legal research for clients with matters pending before the Income Tax Tribunals. My love for reading and writing has also made me work on a number of technical and blog writing projects on the internet.
