After I graduated university with a Bachelor of Commerce, I worked in a small fast paced IT company as a sales account manager. As this was a small company I was also often delegated administrative tasks to complete for our sales director. These tasks included writing technical documentation and reports, proof reading / editing and transcribing documents, data entry and preparing spreadsheets, as well asresponding to emails, planning meetings and taking meeting notes. Furthermore as an Account Manager I worked independently to exceed sales targets for our corporate clients, with a strong focus on building customer relationships. This involved conducting market research, customer acquisition, sales planning and reporting and preparing customer proposals.
