From June to December 2023, I was part of a ClearVoice team that fact-checked, edited, and formatted AI-generated recipes for a new app that Instacart was developing. The company wanted an accurate and comprehensive database of recipes for customers on their mobile app.
There were challenges due to the AI (e.g., hallucinations, incorrect ingredients, and inaccurate cooking times), as well as issues with formatting. The output was provided in a large, difficult-to-use spreadsheet for at least a dozen editors. The client required strict content compliance with back-end data structures.
I helped optimize the content, ensured factual accuracy, and documented my process. This enabled ClearVoice's engineering team to parse the data and streamline the workflow.
In March 2026, I edited and optimized AI-generated pages for the online home improvement marketplace, Thumbtack. I corrected discrepancies between the AI output and the client's style guide and Semrush directives. I integrated required keywords, matched brand tone and readability requirements, and improved clarity and structural flow.
