Below is a summary of my professional experience both full-time and freelance: > Ten years of experience designing, developing and producing Mens, Womens & Youth lifestyle apparel, performance activewear & outerwear, wovens, knits, sweaters, denim and decorated apparel. My experience with working in both large production programs and smaller start-up programs has provided me with a well-balanced understanding of the design and development process. Along with my B.S. Degree in Fashion Merchandising Management, I have acquired the experience and skills necessary to understand the fashion business from concept to the sales floor and beyond. > Traveled multiple times internationally with my team as well as alone to Northern & Southern China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and South Korea for market research, development, manufacturing & sourcing purposes. I also travel domestically to present the collections at Trade Shows, Sales Meetings and Retail Buyer Presentations. > Design & Merchandise for global distribution in a variety of retail and wholesale outlets: direct internet sales, boutique brick & mortar, large internet retailers (ie: Backcountry.com) and big box retailers (ie: The Sports Authority).
