Building Information Modelling For projects in Design Stage: • Reviewing consultant’s Basis of Design Report & Specifications. • Prepare Specification check list pertaining to MEP Design Development. • Prepare work and resource breakdown structure for smooth execution of project. • Creation of schematic of MEPFP services. • Heat Load Calculation in Revit for initial Design of HVAC. • Creation of 3D Model along with Pipe & Duct sizing by Assigning Flow in Revit. • Create Revit parametric family with look up table. • Creation of Pressure Loss Report in Pipe & Duct Network from Revit Model. • Coordinate all MEP services in Autodesk Navisworks Platform. • Prepare clash & design validation report for client's and consultant's review and suggestion. • Prepare Design Drawings and Builders Works based on the coordinated Model. • Prepare Bill of Materials/Quantity Take off based on Coordinated 3D model. • 4D (Construction progress / Sequencing – Linking 3D model with time), 5D (Costing – Linking 3D model with time and quantity) and 6D (Life Cycle Management - Operational and Facilities Management). • Make sure all drawings are prepared in time and as per the specification and quality required. For projects in Execution Stage: • Reviewing consultant’s design drawings and specifications. • Prepare Specification check list pertaining to MEP Modeling. • Highlight the discrepancies in the contract drawings / specification and raise RFIs if required. • Manpower planning based on the Project Schedule. • Prepare work and resource breakdown structure for smooth execution of project. • Creation of schematic of MEPFP services. • Create 3D model of MEP services based on contract drawings, Specifications and technical Submittals in AUTODESK REVIT or AUTODESK FABRICATION. • Create Revit parametric family with look up table. • Coordinate all MEP services in AUTODESK NAVISWORKS Platform • Prepare clash & design validation report for client's and consultant's review and suggestion • Prepare Shop/Installation Drawings and Builders Works based on the coordinated Model • Prepare Bill of Materials/Quantity Take off based on the Shop/Installation Drawings and Coordinated 3D model • 4D (Construction progress / Sequencing – Linking 3D model with time), 5D (Costing – Linking 3D model with time and quantity) and 6D (Life Cycle Management - Operational and Facility Management). • Make sure all drawings are prepared in time and as per the specification and quality requirement.
