I've edited upwards of fifty ebooks ranging from 12,500 - 20,000 words identifying proper grammar, spelling, syntax and the overall impression of the plot. Keeping with the voice of the author related to dialogue and action within the story should anything need a bit of sprucing up. I offer suggestions in the comment section of the edited document, to increase the writer's awareness and skill possibly helpful moving forward in their career. Chapter by chapter editing or working on half the book best aligns my talents with the clients because this is the optimal point for review. The key is to not reach too far before confirming the structure and comments of the work done. At this time, the client reviews and emails back feedback for me to redo the work or continue ahead. I appreciate fiction with strong characterization, ability to envision the character's objection, strife of a situation and come to an understanding by the end of the book. Sometimes the characters stay the same and never change, but are influenced to act in a different way to move the plot along until the end. In one example, a book description might read; Will the protagonists be defeated in his or her mission to rule the world or will a superhero come to save the day?
