Italian native, I have a degree in Economics, from Bari University (2003) and a Master in Auditing and Internal Controls, from Pisa University (2005). I started my working experience in Italy as Internal Auditor for six years (2004- 2010), in very competitive environments (KPMG, Corporate Governance Services Milan and Mediaset S.p.A.) and these experiences still are the pillar of my working “forma mentis” and professional attitude. After one year and half year break of volunteerism (2010-2011), I decided to convert my professional path from the profit to the not-for profit-sector and I moved to Tanzania, where I currently still live. I have developed a huge range of skills and expertise on business management, livelihood, trade and women economic empowerment. I have a robust knowledge of project management, human resources management, budget and activities planning/implementation, monitoring tools creation, financial and non-financial reporting, business planning, business management, training and capacity building. I currently am the Executive Director of a Social Enterprise, named Business Linkages Tanzania Limited, that I have co-founded. BLT Ltd. aims to offer a wide range of consultancy services to micro, small and medium enterprises, with the aim of contributing to the development of the private sector in Tanzania, with a special focus on women and youth.
