At dawn on Thursday, August 31, 1950, an accident occurred on a TWA airliner. The four-engine plane called (Star of Maryland) crashed and plunged into the desert sands near the village of Dust in the Buhaira district (the village of Dust al-Ashraf affiliated with it).
