I’m an award-winning illustrator and visual storyteller with over 15 years of experience bringing stories to life through hand-drawn and digital illustration, storyboards, concept art, and character design. As Chief Creative Officer of DUKEScomics LLC, I’ve created internationally recognized bilingual graphic novels, exhibited at Tokyo Comic Con, Leipzig Book Fair, and FIL Guadalajara, and collaborated with museums, universities, and cultural organizations.
My work spans graphic novels, children’s books, academic publishing, and community arts projects, with a focus on inclusive, culturally rooted storytelling. I’m skilled in visual communication, sequential art, creative direction, and graphic design using tools like Clip Studio and Blender, while always keeping the heart of the story at the center.
Beyond illustration, I’ve led workshops and mentorship programs for youth, taught visual storytelling at the El Paso Museum of Art, and developed arts education projects that empower emerging creators.
