My specialties are in comics, concept art, animation and character design. I’ve worked on several award winning projects for BET, Showtime/MTV, UCLA and many others, with select pieces being featured in galleries overseas including Germany (P61 Gallery in Berlin) and South Korea (CICA Museum in Gyeonggi-do). Stylistically, I switch through digital paint to traditional comic book influences; My focus is always on dynamism, color and expressiveness—the keys to any eye catching piece! Most popular releases include: Monk Inyang's Amazon Best Seller "NIGHTMARE DETECTIVE", Comixology "Best of Indie" series "LEADERS OF THE FREE WORLD", and Kickstarter record-breaking series "SHAKA" by Warren Duncan and NOIR IS THE NEW BLACK by FairSquare Graphics among others.
Here is a sample of my typical production timeline for a single image or comic series issue/episode:
- Concept Art + Layouts: Sketches begin after the commissioner makes the initial deposit (50% down payment, 50% balance upon review and approval or Pay-As-You-Go arrangements are available for bulk orders [graphic novels, comic books, etc]).
- Preliminary + Finished Art: I like to be hands-on with my clients, so you will be involved with overseeing the process from start to finish, with feedback between each corresponding section: pencils, inks and colors (if applicable).
- Turnaround Time : (the time you get the finished work) is about a week MINIMUM for single images (pinups, posters, etc.). Turnaround times vary for larger scale projects, will be discussed during project negotiation.
- Digital Delivery: The final step where your artwork is delivered via direct e-mail or storage service (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc).
