I am senior management and strategic development consultant with over 35 years of experience working with the largest and most prestigious institutions in the industry. I have successfully completed strategic planning analyses for academic medical centers, hospitals, mental health providers and major integrated regional and national delivery systems. I have developed managed care products and networks and helped with the roll out strategies for a number of medical devices. I was privileged to be co-principal investigator of the Quadrennial to Congress of the VA Medical System Staffing. So, I have worked with small and large clients; on major national analyses and local market issues. Hospital clients include the largest academic centers, mid-sized metropolitan facilities and rural hospitals. Insurance and managed care organizations include all of the major carriers and a number of regional players. Other projects include a substantial number of device manufacturers and suppliers. I have served as the president of three successful companies that focused on strategic planning and analytics for health care. The largest, Health Demographics had more than 1,000 clients nationwide, sales over $8 million and ebita of $3.5 million when it was sold. I have been a leading expert in health data analysis for the last 30 years with graduate training from the University of Chicago Graduate School and Business where I also served on the faculty as the Assistant Director of the Graduate Program in Hospital Administration. I had an extensive academic career early. In addition to my time at the University of Chicago, I served as Assistant Professor at the Chicago Medical School, Associate Professor of Marketing at Illinois Benedictine University and Adjunct Professor of Health Administration at Governor's State University. I have had the opportunity to make presentations before a great many national health care related association including hospital associations, physician associations and industry supplier groups. I am a very capable public speaker and can present the results of any study to any group, large or small.
