My name is Edwin Adeola Oluwasina, and I’m a software developer and a developing Data Analyst looking to flex my skills to identify new growth strategies as a Data Analyst. I’ve always been fascinated by numbers, and working in data analytics has been a long-term goal of mine. My career in the field of software development and Database Administration has taught me to think strategically about problems and identify solutions. I believe this experience has prepared me for this Data Analyst role.

During my previous role as a Senior Full Stack Software Developer, Data Analyst and Data Scientist with Pinorising Ventures Ltd, I was asked to develop an analytic machine that was trained and modelled to automatically predict the outcome of an ECG result based on the pattern from the data fed into the machine. I’ve also been pursuing my passion for data, both at work and in my spare time. Over the past year, I’ve been able to achieve the following:

Created an AI System Machine to automatically predict the heart State from the ECG result using Machine Learning with python and MySQL Database.
Created an interactive solution that enables a strong political party in Nigeria to analyse the past presidential elections and to forecast the 2023 presidential election.
Development of Nspire Enterprise E-Library and PDF Reader App using Java and MySQL Server.

I was engaged by Fides et Ratio Consulting in training ICT Directors and their assistants on Data Science and Machine Learning across all six geopolitical zones for Nigerian government institutions, sponsored by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), is a substantial contribution to advancing technology skills in public sectors.
