Obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science degree from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM), Dhaka in 2004 and MSc in Statistics in 1989 (held in 1993) & BSc (Hons) in Statistics in 1988 (held in 1991) from University of Dhaka.
Computer skills: Spectrum FamPlan modeling, Visual Basic 6.0, Visual FoxPro 6.0, SQL Server 7.0, SPSS, MS Access, STATA, PHP MYSQL, FoxPro, Dbase, Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, etc.
Experience: Have more than 22 years of working experience with a wide range of Consultancy firm, research programs and donor projects (e.g. WB, ADB, SDC, DFID). Out of 85 projects working as System Analyst, Data processor and report preparation & presentation, most of the projects were in the sector of Agriculture, fisheries & forestry, Health & family planning and education. Last 10 years, have extensive practical experience in the capacity building of implementing NGOs for developing tools and methodologies for monitoring and tracking progress. The areas of expertise are System analysis & development and monitoring & evaluation, the coordination & supervision of field research & surveys; continuously assess methodologies and instruments for the collection, documentation and analysis of data and the reporting of outcomes using statistical analysis & data management. Have experience in providing support to conduct baseline, mid-term and end-of-term evaluations.
Carrying out need assessment on the development of a Web-based MIS for STEP PIU and all beneficiary Institutes, DTE. BTEB, BMET etc; writing specification of the work; working as the project interface for the consulting firm to be hired for the aforesaid development; supervising the process of Web-based MIS development & deployment; performing acceptance tests prior to final acceptance by the project etc
Conduct a test run of the application software and make necessary adjustment in the system to make it effective and efficient;
Provide support to carry out half-yearly, annual and mid-term review;
Develop entry program for data entry, data received from LCs (Monitoring Checklist and Expenditure statement of 15000 Learning Centers (LCs);
Compile field visit reports of Consultants, Project Officials and submit to IDA
