Throughout my career as a database administrator (DBA) I have been responsible for the design, installation, monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning of production databases and data warehouses while ensuring high levels of data availability and security. In addition I have been responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software. With my ten plus years of experience I bring with me experience with many popular database platforms SQL Server, DB2, FoxPro, Paradox, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLight, XML and Access.I have also filled the role of a report writer by examining and evaluating report requirements for my employers.
