Extracting data into Excel Spreadsheet and automatically e-mailing to Vendor. This system ordered pizza boxes as they are called for Laptops of various models sold front a packaging manufacturer. Saved company over $60,000 a month because no excess material was ordered. * Supply Chain Management Availability Reporting via PC to AS/400 connectivity. Required AS/400 programming on the back end for data building that would eventually be extracted By PC based program the builds and Excel spreadsheet directly from AS/400 data. Build consisted daily buckets for several months of data. Encoded all formulas as sheet is built. Allowed user to Maintain data and rebuild on request. End result is a very robust and informative spreadsheet application that saves the users more than 2 days of work, generated in 5 minutes.
