Denver and New Orleans meet in the West

$66/hr Starting at $66

At the top of the Western Conference, Denver and New Orleans went blow for blow this Friday night. Thanks to Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets won with difficulty against Miami (124-119), while the Pelicans offered Philadelphia (127-116).Here they are at 23 successes for 12 defeats. In the lead in the West, New Orleans and Denver did not flinch this Friday evening despite solid opposition for each of the two franchises. But it was not the same scenarios. Opposed to the Miami Heat, the Nuggets were jostled until the last seconds. In front at the break, Nikola Jokic's teammates were taken by the throat from the start of the third quarter with a 9-0 conceded and more than three minutes spent on the floor without scoring a single point. It was then necessary the return of the innkeepers and Jokic to put the machine back on the road. The Serb, author of his eighth triple double of the season (19 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists), was obviously one of the great architects of the success (26th game in a row with more than 50% success!), while like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, well tuned (20 points at 100% success), but the spotlight was on Jamal Murray. In the money-time, while his team was still behind (115-117), the Nuggets leader converted a winning shot (118-117), before scoring four other points (including 2 shots), all in 55 seconds, to make the difference (122-117 at 1' from the end). The Heat, despite Tyler Herro's 26 points, remained behind (124-119), leaving the Nuggets at the top of the Western Conference.
