I automate the process of creating spreadsheets from raw CSV data, or manipulate existing spreadsheets using Visual Basic for applications for excel. A typical example was a 16 hour per month project developing developing a report from raw data reduced to 15 minutes by using automation. The project took a few weeks but in the end it was worth it and pay for itself in less than half a year.
