Analysis of complex data sets both large and small. I have significant experience in data analysis primarily from a machine learning and data mining perspective rather than from a traditional statistics perspective. My background includes pattern recognition, machine learning, and robot vision research. Most of my work has been in techincal research-oriented domains but is applicable to other domains. One of my specialties is the use of contextual information (additional data from outside sources) to build superior models. I do most of my statistical analysis in R, a free statistics and visualization software package (http://www.r-project.org/) which runs on many computer platforms.
