I am responsible for creating content that is used within shows to improve production quality. Initially covering as a back-up shooter, I have since become a full-time field producer. Since becoming a full time field producer, I create new and fresh content for shows that NBC creates, as well as using new and relevant technology in their digital and field departments. As a field producer, I am responsible for not only shooting subjects, but also producing the segment to fit in our shows on a very limited time frame and budget, no matter the “speed bumps” along the way. I have a solid understanding of post-production skills and technology: I have helped the digital and field production teams to help teach and streamline the editing process and workflow, improving the standard for our shows. When making the transition to HD, my knowledge helped navigate an issue detrimental to the booking process, allowing NBC to transition smoothly and prevent further bottlenecks in the pre-production process.
