I maintain your unique voice while copy-editing and line-editing for clarity, cohesion, and style. I also proofread for typos and grammar errors. In addition, I will format your document as an ebook, print book, or PDF. My Process For a full-stack edit, here's my process. 1. An extensive pass through where I make sure the document flows, examine word choice, point out logic errors, tighten up sentences, and make a lot of the more complicated edits. 2. The next day (so my brain has forgotten the document and won't insert words where no words exist) I do a detailed, word-by-word sweep through for typos. 3. Depending on the deadline, I'll do a third proofread the next day or the day after for maximum typo-killing. 4. I send the file back to you. You accept or reject changes and ask questions. You send the file back to me. 5. I edit it as an ebook using HTML or CSS or a print book or PDF using InDesign.

It was easy to work with Miranda. She's straightforward and timely. She has a good system for editing books which includes excellent communication. She maintained communication with me throughout the whole process without being pushy and was very patient with all the changes in my timelines. I found her editing skills very good and she took the time to explain to me my recurrent mistakes so I could learn. She was open to discussion when I didn't agree on something and to provide different solutions. Developmental edits, copy edits and proof editing were great, although I would have appreciated even more stringent developmental edits.
