My background as a Web Developer, along with my education in Computer Science, have allowed me to attain a strong foundation of technical skills. In addition to my Web Development skills, I also possess a great eye for design and user experience, and this is what I believe separates me from the rest of the competition. I also have a strong understanding in backend development in Java, Java2EE, and am currently sharpening my understanding in Spring 5, and Spring-boot 2.0. I have experience building Java applications and Algorithms that fit the customer’s needs for increased productivity and backend server integration with the customer’s front end Single Page Applications. I have experience working within Windows, Linux Ubuntu GUI and server side OS (16.04 and 18.04 LTS), and Unix environments. I am also familiar with Docker. I am highly skilled with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with the understanding of back end technologies such as Java and C++, while maintaining functional and intuitive databases using MySQL. I have over three or more years of experience with each of these technologies, and I am eager to learn even more technologies to sharpen my skill set. In addition to web technologies, I do have a passion for mobile technologies as well. I've worked on front end frameworks such as Angular 6.0 (moving to Angular 7) and I am self-teaching Android and iOS for my own personal interest. In addition to the skills I have acquired, and the extensive computer science education I have possess, I also have a great track record of success as a student. I have been nominated for membership with Phi Theta Kappa several times for high academic excellence, while maintaining higher than a 3.5 GPA per quarter.
