I am a concept oriented graphic designer with a bachelor’s degree in design. My background is extremely strong in layout, design and graphic concept. I have proven expertise in graphics software programs including Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. While serving as art director for the magazine division of The Kansas City Star, I lead the design team directing multiple publications. My position required writing advertising copy, directing all editorial photo shoots and management of all pre-press and print scheduling and press checks. I have a thorough understanding of marketing visual identity and branding strategies.
