My career started in my early 20's as a local band photographer for the Plain White T’s, Showoff, and various other bands. After working my way through multiple colleges with an extensive education in photography and graphic design, I finally graduated with a BA in Communications from Elmhurst College. After college, I became the “jack of all trades” – artistically speaking – and took jobs as a wedding photographer, film maker, jewelry maker, graphic designer, and marketing guru. It wasn’t until I landed a job at an internet start-up that I was able to learn web design/development and focus all of my skills towards one goal – digital marketing and design. Currently, I’m working as the head Digital Marketing and Search Specialist for a giant in the beauty industry and manage/develop their website, online presence and social strategy, online ad design, print design, and really anything you can Google.
