  • Lead and manage the Product Copywriting team, consisting of two writers covering the Brit and London categories
  • Personal responsibility for creating all copies relating to the Prorsum collection
  • Write clear, concise and accurate product copy that not only reflects a strong awareness of what the customer needs to know, but demonstrates good brand and fabric knowledge while maintaining the Burberry tone of voice
  • Lead on special projects including Runway Made to Order collections
  • Develop good relationships with senior managers in digital commerce, digital marketing, design, product development, marketing/PR
  • Update and manage the consistency of information across the Burberry style guide in collaboration with writers and the senior sub-editor
  • Lead the team to oversee all projects and monthly floorsets
  • Ensure all deadlines are met - this is particularly true of runway shows for menswear and womenswear
  • Work with the senior sub-editor to ensure all product copy is accurate and of high quality
  • Support the team of product writers to achieve targets
  • Mentor members of the team to ensure that writing standards are maintained and support and encourage their development within Burberry
  • Drive communication across channels, leading the innovation of product copy through the business
  • Present at the senior level by updating the marketing team at departmental meetings and chairing the weekly product team meeting
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to work, showing initiative, suggesting ideas to continuously improve the quality of product copy and increase efficiencies within the team and department
