This project highlights my ability to design and develop a complete Power BI dashboard based on Fitbit fitness tracking data. The goal was to transform raw activity data into a clear, interactive, and visually appealing report that offers meaningful insights into health and daily performance.
I started by importing, cleaning, and structuring the Fitbit dataset, which included daily steps, calories burned, distance, and active minutes. The data required proper formatting and relationship modeling to ensure accuracy across all visuals. Using DAX measures, I calculated key performance metrics such as total steps, average calories, and weekly activity summaries to provide a deeper understanding of fitness patterns.
The dashboard features both Light and Dark modes, designed for flexibility and an enhanced user experience. Each mode delivers the same insights with different aesthetic styles, maintaining a clean and modern appearance. The design focuses on simplicity, readability, and engagement — allowing users to explore their progress effortlessly and track long-term fitness trends.
Interactive visuals such as bar charts, line graphs, and KPI cards make the insights easy to interpret at a glance. Slicers and filters were added to help users drill down into specific time periods or activity types. The result is a visually cohesive and data-driven dashboard that supports smarter decisions about personal health goals.
This project demonstrates my skills in data preparation, DAX modeling, and Power BI visualization. It reflects my passion for turning raw data into clear, actionable insights through well-structured and creative dashboards.
I take pride in delivering professional, user-centered Power BI reports that not only present data but tell a story. This Fitbit dashboard is just one example of how I can bring clarity and value to data analysis projects with precision and design excellence.
