US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. After the meeting, Natenyahu and Blinken held a joint press conference. In his speech, Netanyahu emphasized that the unbreakable bond between Israel and the United States is one of the greatest alliances in modern history and said, “We share our growing common interests and common values. This alliance is something President Biden is committed to. I've known him for 40 years. He is a true friend of Israel, a true defender of this alliance, just like you.”

Noting that the United States is grateful for the assistance provided to Israel, Netanyahu stated that Blinken's visit took place at an important time and said, “It is a time when most of the international community sees the real face of Iran. They saw the barbarism that this regime inflicted on its own people. "They've seen how it exports aggression across its borders and beyond the Middle East, and I think there's a common consensus that this regime should not acquire nuclear weapons."
Noting that they are trying to deepen the peace between Israel and many Arab countries with the Abraham Accords, Netanyahu said, "I must say that I believe that expanding the circle of peace will finally help us to close the file on the Arab-Israeli conflict and to reach a viable solution with Palestine."
