Jimmy Fallon is your Pixel 10 host

$5/hr Starting at $25

Google hinted about a star-studded Pixel 10 keynote on Friday, and it has now been revealed that Jimmy Fallon will host Made by Google 2025.

Jimmy Fallon is "officially hosting #MadeByGoogle," according a teaser posted by "Google Pixel" on Instagram yesterday. Furthermore: "I'm Jimmy Fallon, and I'll be hosting the Made by Google event with all the celebrities on August 20 at 1 PM Eastern Time.

The teaser from last week just stated that Jimmy Fallon (among others) would be "featuring" the Pixel 10 event; it did not specify that he would be headlining the entire presentation.  The host of the Tonight Show is seen sporting the Pixel Watch 4 and a Pixel 10.  Fallon's schedule is free because Google's event coincides with the NBC talk show's current gap in showing new episodes.  Google may have planned their event to coincide with the fact that he was still airing fresh episodes till last week.

On his previous talk show (Late Night), Fallon often had tech segments:

This is different from previous Google gatherings that were hosted by hardware executive Rick Osterloh, who is expected to still attend. Whether any of the more established Google employees will present tomorrow is still up in the air.

The previously hinted-at stars, such as Stephen Curry, Lando Norris, and Jonas Brothers, may be more than cameos in light of Fallon. More stars are hinted at as well. Keke Palmer and Jimmy Butler made more conventional guest appearances with executives for certain portions at last year's Made by Google.

Jimmy Fallon's role as the host, along with the teased appearances from a lineup of stars, indicates Google is trying a new strategy for the Pixel 10 launch. It remains to be seen how this star-studded, late-night style will balance with the product announcements, and whether it can successfully engage a wider audience beyond the tech community.
