The heart consultant explained, via Twitter, that the greater the number of daily meals (small quantity), the lower the average pressure, regardless of other factors affecting that relationship.
Dr. Al-Nimr had said earlier that if a hypertensive patient forgets to take a pill and remembers it on the same day, he must take it, but if he remembers that on the next day, he does not double the dose, but rather takes the usual dose earlier.
He added that to protect against stress, the following must be followed: reduce salt, maintain an appropriate weight, maintain enough sleep, eat fruits, exercise, and stay away from everything that causes stress and psychological pressure.
