As a Manual QA Tester, my responsibilities and duties include the manual testing of new software in both the pre- and post-release stage of the development lifecycle. I will look for problems and bugs in the system that users may encounter and help developers find solutions to the issues. I will work as a black box tester, which means that I do not know the code or workings of the system and test, experiencing the system as a user. I will also work as a clear or white box tester, where I will have access and knowledge about the code and workings of the system and can exam each test case with both the user’s and developer’s perspective in mind.
