Hi! Name name is Kelsey Chic and I am a marketer/designer based in South Alberta, Canada. I grew up in a small town Northern Ontario, where I was the girl pushing her friends to star in her next movie. I was always the creative type; making short videos with my friends when I was a kid, to working on website development and branding all throughout high school. When I was 18 I moved to Southern Alberta where I attended the University of Lethbridge and graduated in 2014 with my Bachelor of Management degree, majoring in Marketing and minoring in New Media. In 2016, I started working for a company that works closely with the Alberta Education. That's where I started to be able to use to the skills I had developed in University. I created, and continue to create, a series of posters centered around the new Alberta curriculum. These posters have found there way into every school in Calgary and other schools and classrooms throughout the province. I recently began doing more freelance jobs. I designed a promotional brochure for my local public library and worked with a local company to develop their logo as well as some promotional materials for them. I am hoping to dive more and more into the freelance world. I love being able to work on different projects and seeing the looks on my clients faces when I bring their idea to life is truly remarkable.
