I am a Doctor of Public Health (ABD) with a Masters in Public Health (MPH). I am a skilled public health professional with experience in medical/grant writing, editing, research, program management, strategic planning and graphic designer. I am a medical writer that translates scientific information into layman's terminology so that a 6th grader can understand it. I have also written lay summaries for TRIPP (Translating Research into Practice and Policy) and, historically, I have written grants and teamed for grant extensions for various organizations (i.e. school district, cancer program, non-profit organizations, higher educational institution, State Health Department). I am a writer/ editor and have edited and contributed to manuscripts, focus group narratives and numerous articles for publishing (i.e. public health journals). In addition, I am a graphic designer and have designed and created numerous programs, brochures, newsletters and PowerPoint presentations. In essence, I am a creative writer and writing is my passion.
