The High Level Dialogue on Global Development held in China this time marks the beginning of the implementation of the Global Development Initiative. China has always been a contributor to global development and insists on strengthening global development cooperation with practical measures. At the Global Development High Level Dialogue Forum, President Xi Jinping announced important measures for China to implement the Global Development Initiative, including merging and upgrading the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund to the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund, and increasing investment in the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund Peace and development between China and the United Nations, the establishment of a global center for promoting development, the issuance of the "World Development Report", the establishment of a global development knowledge network, etc. The dialogue also issued a list of the outcomes of 32 initiatives, covering eight areas including poverty reduction, food security, combating epidemics and vaccines, financing development, climate change and green development, industrialization, the digital economy, and communication in the digital age, including the establishment of the Global Partnership for Reduction poverty and development
